TelAviv: A recent report by the Wall Street Journal indicates that approximately 70% of homes in Gaza City have been damaged or destroyed as the conflict with Israel continues. The analysis is based on satellite imagery and remote sensing methods, revealing extensive damage to various structures, including factories, houses of prayer, schools, shopping malls, and hotels. Israel has argued that many of these locations were targeted because they were used by Gaza terror groups for military purposes.

The report further highlights that only eight out of Gaza's 36 hospitals are currently operational, and basic infrastructure such as water, electricity, and communications has been severely compromised. The situation has raised concerns, with some experts drawing historical parallels, such as the bombing of Dresden during World War II.

Meanwhile, the Israeli military has reported striking multiple terror cells and infrastructure in the Gaza Strip. Operations in Gaza City have reportedly eliminated dozens of terror operatives, with air force assistance. Additionally, forces destroyed two buildings used by Hamas in Beit Lahiya and confiscated significant amounts of military equipment. Fierce battles and air strikes have been reported in Khan Younis, suggesting ongoing military activities in the region.
